As a Key Account Manager, you will assume strategic and economic responsibility for selected existing clients who are highly relevant to our growth. You will manage client projects professionally and actively drive initiatives both internally and externally. The focus is clearly on the strategic development of existing clients – not just on maintaining existing accounts.
You approach sales from a partnership and entrepreneurial perspective, recognize potential within the portfolio, and analyze markets and customers. You don't see yourself as just a "customer service provider," but as someone who builds strong, long-term partnerships with existing customers and actively develops revenue?

Your tasks
We need your support
- Further development and active expansion of existing key accounts in the B2B environment (private label/contract manufacturing) through targeted portfolio development, in-depth assortment analyses, and shared responsibility for sales and economic success.
- Responsibility for offer and negotiation processes (calculation, offers, contract negotiations, offer follow-up) as well as development of account plans, forecasts and measures based on market, customer and competitor analyses.
- Active presentation of new product ideas, innovations and trending ingredients – especially in the area of functional ingredients (e.g. Omega-3)
- Close collaboration with project management, development and production to control and implement complex customer projects
- Regular reporting and presentation of results (e.g., in sales meetings)
- Preparation, participation and follow-up of customer visits, trade fairs and events
- Contribution to the optimization of internal sales processes in the interest of key accounts
your qualification
This will convince us
- Completed business-related studies or comparable commercial training
- Several years of experience in account management or consulting B2B sales at a manufacturing company – ideally in the food supplement, pharmaceutical, or related industries; experience with private label/contract manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience in sales support for development projects and demonstrable success in the further development of existing customers – ideally with revenue responsibility.
- Understanding of product portfolios, value chains and market dynamics of the industry, as well as interest in trends and functional ingredients in the health and beauty market (e.g., Omega-3)
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop customers in the long term.
