Manager Technical Development (m/f/d) full-time

As a Technical Development Manager, you are the bridge between sales, our customers, and technical product development. Are you passionate about product development and want to demonstrate this to our customers? Do you present yourself confidently, communicate clearly, and are a strong conceptual thinker?

• Supporting our sales team in supporting customers and prospects
  • Contact person for sales for technical questions, e.g. feasibility
  • Decision on the feasibility of the formulation proposal based on the development tests
  • Communication of results and development of proposed solutions
• Participation in customer meetings together with sales (on-site or in online meetings)
• Continuous evaluation and classification of raw materials and auxiliary materials, especially with regard to their physical and technological parameters for an efficient development and manufacturing process.
• Support and approval of machine tests and initial production.
• Coordination of machine tests and initial production (e.g. capsules, tablets, mixtures, stick fillings)
  • Organization of required samples via purchasing or suppliers
  • Commissioning, evaluating and documenting production trials
  • Developing problem solutions in collaboration with production

• Scientific studies in the field of food chemistry, food technology or relevant experience in a similar professional field
• Several years of experience in product development in a food or food supplement company
• Confident, routine use of MS Office programs
• Knowledge of an ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an advantage
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Self-responsible and results-oriented working style with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Conceptual and process-oriented thinking
• High customer orientation as well as strong problem-solving, communication and assertiveness skills
• You approach challenging situations in a solution-oriented and focused manner
• Teamwork and intercultural competence
